Garrett "Big G" Jacobson, currently age
20, is known for his unique style as a vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist,
which combines elements of blues, soul, and jazz. His first self-released
CD "Rhythm Attack" (1998) was released when G was age 15…

His latest CD, "That Funky Thang", was released in 2001... "Garrett
'Big G' Jacobson leads his tight, swinging band through a set of originals...
making this disc a dancefloor threat. His singing is smoky and confidently unforced." (Blues
Revue). Recently, G
released a limited edition CD entitled "Key Lime Pi" which features
G playing a straight-ahead jazz set at the organ. To name a few highlights,
G has performed with his group at the Grand Emporium in Kansas City, MO,
Blue Cat Blues Club in Dallas, TX, Jazz On Greenwood Festival in Tulsa, OK
and the legendary Charlie Christian Jazz Festival in Oklahoma City, OK. He
has also been featured with Joe Louis Walker at the Grand Emporium in Kansas
City and with Smokey Wilson at B.B. King's Blues Club in Hollywood.
G is
currently performing regularly in Oklahoma where he is based. With his
unique blend of blues, soul and jazz, G's style and dynamic show are catching
the eyes of many in the music industry.
